From Reader's Digest and the National Pork Board- yummy, yummy, easy. Just my kind of recipe.
Ingredients:
5 lbs boneless pork butt, shoulder
1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
Directions:
1. Mix dried seansonings.
2. Rub evenly over roast.
3. Place roast in crock pot/ slow cooker.
4. Add water.
5. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours.
6. Remove roast to cutting board and let rest for 10-15 minutes.
7. Shred meat.
