Perfect and Healthy Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons chopped onions
2 tablespoons chopped red peppers
1/2 cup egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute
1/4 cup fat-free cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons salsa
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
Directions:
1. Spray a nonstick skillet with pam.
2. Add onions and peppers to pan and saute for about 3 minutes.
3. Combine the next 6 ingredients in a bowl.
4. Add egg mixture to pan and scramble until completely cooked.
5. You can serve with some additional cheese, salsa, or sour cream if you prefer.
