My mom always cooked pork chops with just salt and black pepper... I took it to the next level. Very simple and VERY flavorful. If you like garlic and love black pepper you'll find these to your liking!
Ingredients:
4 boneless center cut pork chops (1 1/2 inch-thick)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons fresh coarse ground black pepper
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
3 -4 tablespoons olive oil, plus about
1 tablespoon olive oil, for your skillet
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large self-sealing plastic bag. (large enough to hold chops). Marinate chops in the garlic pepper mixture for about 30 minutes.
2. Heat cast iron skillet (or heavy skillet with enough olive oil to just coat the pan.
3. Remove pork from the marinade and place into skillet. Cook for about 20 to 30 minutes, until the pork is fully cooked and the outsides are browned.
4. Baste with marinade during cooking, if desired.
