Peppermint Pattie Poke Cake

I got this recipe off a Betty Crocker Cake Mix. Enjoy peppermint and chocolate as never before. Great combination of flavors. Love it!
Ingredients:
cake
1 box betty crocker supermoist triple chocolate fudge cake mix
water, vegetable oil, and eggs called for in cake mix directions
filling
1 box (4 servings) white chocolate instant pudding
2 cups milk
1/2 t peppermint extract
frosting
1/4 t peppermint extract
1 tub whipped chocolate frosting
3/4 cup coarsely chopped peppermint patties (8 candies)
Directions:
1. 350 degrees (325 for dark or nonstick).
2. Make cake as directed for 13 X 9-inch pan.
3. Cool 15 minutes.
4. Poke top of warm cake every 1/2 inch with handle of wooden spoon.
5. In medium bowl, beat filling ingredients.
6. Pour over cake.
7. Cover loosely and refrigerate about 2 hours.
8. Stir extract into frosting.
9. Spread frosting over cake.
10. Sprinkle with peppermint patties.
11. Store in fridge.
