i found this in an old book of clippings that i kept from the early 80s. it was good, if memory serves me well
Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon raisins
1 cup light molasses
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
1 dash ground cloves
Directions:
1. in oil saute onion and garlic until soft.
2. combine remaining ingreds in a blender, until smooth.
3. add to onion garlic mixture, bring to boil, cover, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
4. may be used on parboiled ribs, pork or beef.
