Ingredients:
1- 3 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened -room temperature
1 stick(s) butter, softened-room temperature
1 cup(s) flour
1 cup(s) chopped pecans
3/4 cup(s) dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tablespoon(s) melted butter
confectioner sugar to sprinkle over pecan tarts
2 mini muffin tins
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients for dough at least 24 hours in advance. Divide dough into 24 small dough balls. Refrigerate over night . Mix ingredients for filling. Put approximately 1 teaspoon filling in each mini muffin tin. (Do not overfill) (Note- You may have filling left over).. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Makes 24 pecan tarts. Sprinkle tarts with confectioner's sugar. Yum!
