Pecan Pumpkin Dessert

A great dessert for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans solid-pack pumpkin
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
frosting
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) carton whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
1. Line a 13*9*2 in baking pan with waxed paper and coat with non stick cooking spray.
2. In a mixing bowl combine pumpkin,milk,and sugar.
3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
4. Pour into pan.
5. Sprinkle with dry cake mix and drizzle with butter.
6. Sprinkle with pecans.
7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
8. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
9. Invert onto a large platter, remove wax paper.
10. In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar and vanilla until smooth.
11. Fold in whipped topping.
12. Frost dessert.
13. Keep in refig.
