Pecan Pie-Topped Brownies

A bit like the topping off pecan pie with a brownie underneath!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup cocoa, sifted
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups pecans or 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and ligthly grease a large baking tin, approximately 9 x 12 inches.
2. Melt the butter or margarine over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the flour and stir until smooth.
3. Add the vanilla, sugar and eggs and stir constantly for 5 or so minute.
4. Remove from heat and stir in nuts. Set aside.
5. Mix brownie ingredients together in a large bowl. Spread into baking pan.
6. Spread topping over.
7. Bake for 35-40 minute Be careful not to overbake.
8. Cool and cut into bars.
