Pecan Caramel Sauce

A heavenly caramel sauce with a crunch for ice cream or over whatever you like
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar, solidly packed
1 cup heavy cream
2 egg yolks
pinch of salt
125 ml pecans
Directions:
1. Seperate the eggs.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
3. Add the sugar, cream, egg yolks and salt.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Allow until thickened, about 1 minute.
6. Remove fromheat.
7. Stir in the pecans.
8. Allow to cool to room teperature.
