Pecan Caramel Cream Squares

Ingredients:
16 caramels, unwrapped
24 large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1 cup pecans, chopped, toasted
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
1. Put caramels, marshmallows, and milk in top of double boiler.
2. Place over boiling water.
3. cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture is melted and smooth - about 25 minutes.
4. remove from heat and cool.
5. stir in pecans.
6. Whip cream and fold into creamed mixture.
7. combine crumbs and butter.
8. reserve 1/4 cup.
9. press remainder into bottom of 10x6 dish.
10. top with caramel mixture.
11. sprinkle with crumbs.
12. Chill several hours or overnight.
13. cut into squares.
