Pecan Bread Pudding

Ingredients:
4 slices of buttered bread
1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
Directions:
1. Cut buttered bread into strips.
2. Arrange in layers in a buttered baking dish with pecans on each layer.
3. Beat eggs slightly.
4. Add sugar, salt, vanilla and milk.
5. Mix well and pour over bread.
6. Sprinkle pecans on top and bake at 325° about 1 hour.
