Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter (part margarine okay)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 3/4-1 cup mini chocolate chip
  • 1/3 cup raisins or 1/3 cup other dried fruit
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ or 1/3-1/2 chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. With mixer, beat butter, honey and eggs till fluffy and light.
  2. Gradually add dry ingredients; beat till well blended. Stir in chips and optional ingredients.
  3. Drop by rounded teaspoon or small cookie scoop on greased or parchment lined cookie sheets.
  4. Bake 12 minutes at 350, till bottoms start to brown; remove to rack to cool.
