Great recipe here from my friend Cindy. She has about 8 women friends over every 4th Sunday and cooks fabulous meals. this is one she serves often and we all love it. She uses fresh peas when available. Enjoy Ingredients:
20 ounces frozen petite peas |
8 ounces fresh mushrooms diced |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
4 tablespoons butter |
2 teaspoons granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook peas as package directs then drain. 2. Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter until onions are barely cooked. 3. Add sugar, salt, pepper and peas then cover and cook until heated through. |
