Peanut Crunch Salad

This is a good salad to serve with grilled steaks or baked ham. Prep time does not include chilling the salad.
Ingredients:
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup coarsely chopped dry roasted peanuts
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Toss cabbage and celery together, and chill.
2. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, onion, green pepper and cucumber in a small bowl.
3. Chill.
4. Just before serving, melt butter in a small skillet, and add peanuts.
5. Heat until lightly browned.
6. Immediately stir in cheese.
7. Toss chilled vegetables with dressing, and sprinkle peanut mixture on top.
