Bell Plantation produces PB2, a powdered peanut butter that is much lower in fat than regular peanut butter and tastes like homemade when you add water to it. I found it in the health food section at my local grocery store.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (12 ounce) bag semisweet chocolate
1 cup almond brickle chips
0.5 (6 1/2 ounce) jar powdered peanut butter (pb2)
3 tablespoons water
1 cup chocolate chips
3 eggs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Lightly grease baking sheets.
3. Cream butter, shortening at medium speed until creamy.
4. Gradually add sugars, PB2, water, vanilla, salt, soda., then add dry ingredients.
5. Once well mixed, then stir in chocolate chips and toffee chips.
6. Drop by teaspoonfuls about a few inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-11 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool and then remove to wire racks.
