If you read my 'Zaar profile you know I'm pretty much into healthy stuff...BUT. When I've had a hard week, or am feelin' pitiful, I make myself one of these, pour a cold glass of milk, and (as we say down South) just RARE BACK and enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 slices sto'-bought bread (my mother used roman meal which may or may not have been whole-grain, but it looked healthier than)
1 tablespoon chunky peanut butter
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (pronounced my-naze down here)
1/2 ripe banana, sliced thin
potato chip, handful crushed (mom used lay's back then, but as an educated gourmet i now prefer kettle chips or zapp's)
1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
1. Don't toast the bread or fool with it in any way. Spread the peanut butter on each slice first, then slap on the mayonnaise. Arrange the nanner slices, drizzle the hunny, and sprinkle on the tater chips. Put the slices together, wrap it in a napkin (hunny is bad to drip) and enjoy!
