Very small but very tasty miniature peanut butter and chocolate cups! Ingredients:
for peanut butter cups |
1/2 cup(125gr) creamy peanut butter |
2 tablespoons (28gr) unsalted butter in room temperature |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup (55 gr) confectioners (powdered or icing) |
for chocolate coating |
9 ounces (255gr) semi sweet chocolate,coarsely chopped |
9 ounces(255gr) milk chocolate ,coarsely chopped |
1 tablespoon (10gr)shortening |
Directions:
1. For 36 miniature muffin cups with paper liners:
2. Place the peanut butter,unsalted butter, and salt in a microwave bowl,and heat in the microwave for about 1 minute or just until softbut not melted(check and stir the ingredients every 20 seconds)
3. Stir in thee confectioners sugar
4. Melt the chocolates and shortening in a heatproof bowl over saucepan of simmering water
5. Drop a teaspoon of the melted chocolate into each of the paper lined miniature muffin cups.
6. Top with a scant teaspoon of peanut butter mixture
7. Then top with another teaspoon of melted chocolate
8. Refrigerate until set.Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
9. Makes about 36 peanut butter cups :)
