From Gourmet 1998, a delish blondie recipe topped wth chips and nuts Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
3/4 tsp baking soda |
1 1/4 sticks margarine |
2 eggs |
2 cups light brown sugar |
2 tsp vanilla |
3/4 cup chocolate chips |
3/4 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. 2. Blend in sugar. whisk in eggs and vanilla. 3. Gently stir in flour mixed with baking powder and salt 4. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan. 5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. 6. Bake in a 350F oven about 25 minutes or tested with moist crumbs attached. 7. Cool and cover and let stand 24 hours at room temperature before cutting |
