Peachy Rice Pudding

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brunson Estate in Midlothian, Texas in 1990.
Ingredients:
1-1/3 cups water
2/3 cup long grain rice
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup mixed dried fruit bits
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped peeled peaches
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan stir together water and uncooked rice.
2. Bring to boiling then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
3. Stir evaporated milk, fruit bits, honey, cinnamon and salt into cooked rice.
4. Bring just to boiling then reduce heat.
5. Simmer uncovered over medium low heat 5 minutes stirring frequently.
6. Serve pudding warm with peaches and yogurt.
