This heavenly Peaches & Cream Pie is irresistable. A drool-worthy choice, this cool and creamy pie is the perfect dessert for a warm summer night.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3-oz. pkg. cook & serve vanilla pudding mix
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 16-oz. can sliced peaches, drained and 5 t. juice reserved
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
garnish: cinnamon-sugar to taste
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased 9 pie plate. Arrange peach slices on top; set aside. Beat together cream cheese, sugar and reserved juice for 2 minutes. Spoon over peaches; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
