I love peaches and to make it into an ice cream is always great too. fun to eat in those hot summer evenings after a backyard bbq. cooking time is ripening time of fruit in sugar Ingredients:
1 lb peach, cut up |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup heavy cream |
1 cup whole milk |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. cut up 1 pound of peaches and put in a bowl.
2. pour 1/2 cup sugar on peach pieces and place in refridgerator overnight.
3. either process in a food processor till pureed or press through a sieve
4. mix throughly with milk, cream, and sugar
5. process according to ice cream machine instructions.
