From Braxton Tree Farm, Easy Peach Blueberry Custard Pie; found in momma's recipe box. Her additions to the original recipe were the nutmeg and cinnamon lemon zest mix.
Ingredients:
2 large ripe peaches, sliced
1/2 cup of washed blueberries
1 unbaked pie shell
2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of butter melted
2 tablespoons of flour
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1/8 tsp of nutmeg
1/2 tsp of grated lemon rind (zest only no white part)
Directions:
1. Place peaches in pie shell in a pretty circular pattern.
2. Sprinkle the blueberries over the top randomly.
3. Beat eggs well, add sugar, flour, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon.
4. Pour over peaches and blueberries.
5. Bake 400 degrees for 15 minutes and then bake at 325 for 35 minutes more.
