Paula Deens Garlic Grilled Tomatoes

LOVE grilled tomatoes, and these are wonderful! I use seasoned salt and garlic pepper instead of her house seasoning.
Ingredients:
4 ripe red tomatoes
seasoned salt
garlic pepper
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
1/4 cup parmigiano-reggiano
Directions:
1. Cut the tomatoes in half crosswise, season with seasoned salt and garlic pepper.
2. Heat the oil in a small frying pan over medium heat.
3. Add the garlic, and cook until just starting to turn golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
4. Pour the garlic and oil into a heatproof bowl.
5. Oil the grill and set for high heat.
6. Place the tomatoes cut side down and grill for 3 to 5 minutes.
7. Turn over, top with the garlic oil mixture and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.
8. Remove from grill and top with thyme, seasoned salt, garlic pepper and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
9. Serve immediately.
