1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cream butter and brown sugar. 3. Add the remaining ingredients except raisins and nuts. 4. Mix well until blended. 5. Stir in raisins and nuts. 6. Pour into greased and floured 8 x 4 x 3-inch loaf pan. 7. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes.
