Pasta Salad with Broccoli and Almonds Gi Jane

A colourful pasta salad
Ingredients:
2 oz dried pasta
3 ozs broccoli, trimmed into small florets
1 tablespoon yoghurt
1 tsp pesto
5 cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 oz sliced almonds
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions
2. During the last few minutes of cooking time add the broccoli florets or steam them over the top using a steamer
3. Drain the pasta and broccoli and rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process
4. Stir into the rest of the ingredients and serve with salad leaves
