Pasta Salad With Avocado And Peppers

This is a dish I got from a Costco cookbook. Very tasty and colorful, nice as a lunch with some good crusty bread, or as a side dish for a potluck or buffet. Cook time is chilling time; longer is fine, to let flavors meld, but don't serve it icy cold.
Ingredients:
8 oz penne or other short macaroni style-pasta
1/2 c prepared vinaigrette
3/4 c diced red bell pepper
3/4 c diced green bell pepper
3/4 c crumbled feta cheese
1/2 c chopped onion (sweet red onions are very nice in this)
1/3 c chopped black olives (or kalamata or other similar)
3 t chopped fresh parsley
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 large ripe avocados
1 t lemon juice
Directions:
1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until just tender, about 10 minutes; drain well.
2. Place warm pasta in a bowl and toss with vinaigrette, let cool.
3. Fold in peppers, feta, onion, olives, parsley and garlic. Chill.
4. Bring salad to room temperature.
5. Cut avocados into chunks, toss with lemon juice. Fold into salad.
6. Serve and enjoy!
