Pasta Buffet Salad

This is a marinated salad that can be mostly prepared the day before a party. It makes a generous amount, is vegetarian and not too fattening. You can substitute low fat dressing.
Ingredients:
2 cups broccoli
2 cups cauliflower
2 cups carrots
2 cups celery
2 cups zucchini
1 cup red pepper
1 cup green pepper
1 large bottle italian salad dressing (your favorite)
1 1/2 lbs. pasta, spirals
1 bottle chili sauce
2 t. lemon juice
6 t. dill dip mix
1-4 oz. can sliced olives (opt.)
Directions:
1. cut up all the vegetables into bite size pieces. In a large bowl, marinate vegetables in Italian dressing overnight.
2. The next day, prepare pasta according to the package instructions. Dran and rinse with cold water. Drain marinade from vegetables, reserving 1/2 cup of dressing.
3. combine chili sauce, lemon juice and dill mix in a small bowl. Pour over pasta and vegetables and toss to coat. Add remainder of Italian marinade to taste.
4. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled and serve.
