Try these tasty alternatives to French fries with Open-Faced Steak Sandwiches.
Ingredients:
1 medium baking potato (about 8 ounces)
butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray
2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Scrub potato; cut into 6 wedges. Soak potato wedges in ice water for 30 minutes; drain and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Coat an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray. Arrange potato wedges in one layer in pan; brush with margarine. Combine oregano and next 3 ingredients; sprinkle mixture evenly over potato wedges. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, turning twice. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese, and serve immediately.
