Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup molasses or 1/3 cup corn syrup
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla
maple flavoring (optional)
Directions:
1. Bring sugars, molasses and water to a boil, stirring constantly.
2. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
3. Remove and add vanilla and optional maple flavouring if using.
