this is my wifes favorite appetizer,i make the ice cubes in large quantities and keep on hand,works well for clams too, i got this off an old emiril lagasse show''how to boil water'' and adapted it Ingredients:
24 oysters |
16 oz v 8 juice |
juice of 2 lemons and zest |
1 oz worcester |
1 oz tobasco |
2 oz pepper vodka |
Directions:
1. combine and mix all ingedients but oysters,pour into ice cube trays 1/2 way filling and freeze 1 hour till slushy
2. shuck oysters and spoon in one slush ice cube on top of each oyster
3. serve on bed of ice with a bloody mary!
