Overnight Maple French Toast Bake

Ingredients:
12 slices bread, cubed
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
8 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
additional syrup
Directions:
1. arrange half of the bread in greased 2 qt baking dish. top with cream cheese and remaining bread.
2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk and syrup; pour over bread.
3. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
4. Cover and bake 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover, bake 20-25 minutes longer or until golden brown. Serve with additional syrup.
5. I didn't have enough maple syrup so I substituted kayro (clear) syrup for the 1/2 cup and used what I had to pour over the french toast when it was done. Tasted great.
