  1. PREHEAT oven to 350F. Mix 1/4 Cup SPLENDA (1/2 cup sugar), flour and salt in top of a double boiler. (If you don't have a double boiler you can improvise by filling a large saucepane 2-3 inches of water and placeing a smaller sauce pan or oven safe bowl in the water, the idea is to cook with steam instead of direct heat) Blend in 3 egg yolks and milk. Cook, uncovered, over boiling water 10-12 minutes or until thickend, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla
  2. RESERVE 12 of the wafers for garnish. Spread small amount of custard on bottom of 1-1/2 quart baking dish; cover with layers of 1/3 each of the rmaining wafers and sliced bannans. Por about 1/3 of remaining custard. Continue to layer wafers, banans and custard to make a total of 3 layers of each ending with custard.
  3. BEAT egg whits on high speed of electric mixer unit soft peaks form gradually add remaining 2tbsp SPLENDA (1/4 cup sugar) beating untill stiff peaks form. Spoon over custard spread even to cover entire surface or custard and sealing well to edge
  4. BAKE 15-20 minute or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Top with reserved 12 Wafers just before serving
  5. Makes 12 Servings, 2/3 cus each
  6. Special Extra: Garnish with additional banana slices, if desired.
