Oriental Noodle Salad

Somthing different- in salads. This has a great texture with the fried noodles
Ingredients:
salad
1/2-1 chinese cabbage or savoy cabbage, shredded finely
6 green onions/shallots/spring onions, chopped
100g lightly roasted slivered almonds or pine nuts
100g fried noodles
dressing
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup castor sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup olive oil
Directions:
1. Combine all dressing inreds in a suacepan and stir well ove low heat til sugar is dissolved. Cool
2. Toss cabbage, green onions and almonds in a salad bowl
3. Add dressing and mix well
4. Just before serving, add noodles and toss thoroughly
5. To make this even better- add shredded bbq chicken or bbq pork
