great for a summer BBQ
Ingredients:
1/2c sliced almonds
1/2c sunflower seeds
1/4c sesame seeds
2c red cabbage, shredded
2c green cabbage, shredded
2c bean sprouts
2c green onions, chopped fine
3t cidar vinegar
1t sugar
4tsp soy sauce
2tsp sesame oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1-2t vegetable oil
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. spread almonds, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds on baking sheet, bake at 350 until golden and fragrant.
2. Combine cabbage, bean sprouts and onions in a large bowl.
3. Wisk together vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, vegetable oil and salt and pepper.
4. Just before serving toss toasted seeds and dressing with the cabbage.
