A superb oriental tasting, crunchy salad.
Ingredients:
dressing
1/2 cup oil
3 tbsps rice vinegar
1/2 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsps soya sauce
1 tbsp sugar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
salad
1 bunch brocoli, into florets
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2 green scallions, chopped
2 cups chow mein noodles
1/2 cup toasted almonds, sliced
Directions:
1. Dressing: Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour before serving.
2. Salad: Mix all ingredients together.
3. Add the dressing ONLY when you are ready to serve or the chow mein noodles will become soggy.
