Orange Yogurt Cake With Honey Syrup

delightful egg free sweet, moist, orange honey yogurt cake infused with an orange honey suyrup- med-mid east flare
Ingredients:
3 c uncooked farina
1/2 c unbleached white flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c honey
2 c plain non-fat yogurt
1/2 c coarsely chopped blanched almonds
4 t frozen orange juice concentrate
1 t fresh orange zest
syrup
1 1/2 c honey
1 1/2 c orange juice
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Sift together farina, flour, baking powder and soda.
3. Stir yogurt, almonds, orange juice concentrate, orange zest and 1 1/2 C honey into dry ingredients.
4. Pour batter into a well-greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
5. Bake until top is golden brown (about 45 minutes)
6. To make the syrup, bring 1 1/2 C honey and 1 1/2 C orange juice to a boil in a saucepan.
7. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Remove and discard any froth that may form on the syrup's surface.
9. Pour syrup over finished cake.
10. Poke cake gently with a toothpick to help cake absorb syrup.
11. Serve when cake is cool and syrup has been absorbed.
