This recipe reminds me of eating Flintstone Push-ups as a child!! Wonderful salad that just screams summer!! Big hit with family & friends!!!
Ingredients:
-1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
-1 11oz can mandarin oranges drained
-1 can (20 oz ) pineapple tidbits, drained
-1 1/2 cup milk
-1/2 can frozen orange juice (i usually use 3/4 of a can)
-3/4 cup sour cream
-2 bananas peeled & sliced
-1 cup coconut flakes (optional)
****i've found using a salad spinner drains the fruit very well
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl, combine frozen orange juice, pudding, milk & mix well. Add in sour cream and mix until well blended.
2. Fold in oranges, tidbits, bananas & coconut flakes. Cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
