This is a favorite pound cake of the family. It is delicious! You can use any kind of orange drink if you can't find orange crust.
Ingredients:
1 cup shortening
1 stick margarine
2 3/4 cups sugar
3 cups plain flour
3 eggs
pinch salt
2 tsp. orange flavoring
8 ounces or 1 cup orange crust
frosting..
8-ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp. orange flavoring
1 lb. powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 325F.
2. Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
3. Add eggs one at a time.
4. Add flour, orange crust alternately.
5. Add orange flavoring and salt.
6. Beat until smooth.
7. Put into well-greased tube pan.
8. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
9. FROSTING...
10. Beat until smooth and frost on cool cake.
