Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
6 tablespoons cornstarch
6 egg yolks
2 cups half-and-half
3 tablespoons butter, cut up
3 tablespoons orange liqueur or orange juice concentrate
2 tablespoons grated orange rind
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly. Boil, whisking constantly, 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from heat; whisk in butter and remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into a bowl; cover and chill at least 4 hours.
