Don't let this recipe fool you - It's a delcious dessert Ingredients:
1/2 cup thick cut orange marmalade |
1/4 cup scotch whiskey |
2 tbs. light brown sugar |
2 tbs lemon juice |
1 tsp grated lemon rind |
2 cups heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Combine marmalde, whiskey, brown sugar, lemon juice and rind in small heavy saucepan
2. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar.
3. Remove from heat and cool completely.
4. In a bowl, beat heavy cream with 1/2 cup marmalde high speed to soft peaks.
5. Spoon 1/2 cup of the marmalde cream mixture into 8 small dessert glasses
6. Drizzle top of dessert with the whiskey sauce
7. Serve at once or chill
