This is a fantastic dish... as long as you don't want to kiss someone afterward!
Ingredients:
3 large onions, sliced
1/2 lb mushroom, fresh (or 2 small cans)
1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded
18 1/2 inches slice french bread, buttered on both sides
10 1/2 ounces cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
1. BEST IF REFRIGERATED OVERNIGHT OR AT LEAST SEVERAL HOURS.
2. Saute onion and mushrooms in margarine of oil.
3. In a 9x13 inch buttered pan begin layering.
4. First Layer: One half of the cheese.
5. Second Layer: One half of the onions and mushroom.
6. Third Layer: 9 slices of bread.
7. Repeat layers.
8. Mix soup, milk and soy sauce, pouring over top.
9. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.
