Onion and Orange Salad (With Evoo)

This recipe is similar to others on 'zaar but much simpler (without black olives which I don't prefer). I have made it for years and remember that it came from a magazine but can't recall which one.
Ingredients:
4 oranges
1 red onion, cut in paper-thin slices
1 teaspoon oregano, fresh or 1/3 teaspoon oregano, dried
1 pinch salt
fresh ground pepper, to taste
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Peel the oranges removing all the white membrane. Cut crosswise into thin slices and discard any seeds.
2. Arrange the orange slices on a large serving dish.
3. Separate onion slices into rings and scatter over the oranges.
4. Sprinkle on oregano, season with salt and pepper and then drizzle the oil over all.
5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
