Translated by me off a German baking group and described as an easy and tasty lemon cake. Ingredients:
350 g magarine or butter |
350 g sugar |
1 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp lemon extract |
6 eggs |
2 tbs grated lemon peel |
350 g flour |
3 tsp baking powder |
glaze |
400 g powdersugar |
grated lemon peel |
2 tbs lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Mix all in a bowl and place in a greased square cake pan. 2. Bake 175- 200C about 20 minutes or tested done. 3. Cool 4. Combine some powder sugar and grated lemon peel and juice r to make a glaze and drizzle over cooled cake |
