deep fried glutinous rice ball with sesame seed in the outside and mung bean paste filling
Ingredients:
100 g mung beans
50 g sugar
2 tbsp coconut milk
100 ml water
1/2 tbsp rice flour
200 g glutinous rice, ground
100 g sugar
150 ml water
100 g sesame seeds
1/4 tsp vanilla
60 ml vegetable oil
Directions:
1. to make the ball:
2. boil water and sugar until sugar is mixed with the fluid
3. wait until cool
4. mix rice flour, glutinous rice and vanilla
5. pour in fluid sugar slowly, moulding the dough
6. divide the dough into 20 parts
7. to make the filling:
8. boil mung beans in water until soft
9. add sugar and coconut milk
10. stir until thick
11. divide into 20 parts
12. take 1 part of dough
13. put 1 part of filling
14. roll into balls and roll in sesame seed
15. deep fried the balls
