Oman Rice With Lentils

Ingredients:
2 cups rice
1 cup lentils, yellow
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons ghee, butter if you dont have
6 peppercorns
6 cardamom
2 cinnamon sticks
3 cloves
1 onion, chopped
5 cups water, it said right amount of water im guessing may need more with lentils
Directions:
1. wash soak rice
2. wash soak lentils
3. fry onions in butter
4. add spices stir
5. add lentils stir add rice stir
6. cook until rice puffs
7. add water
8. bring to boil cover cook for 20 minutes.
