Ingredients:
dry ingredients
3/4 cup white flour
3/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger root
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
wet ingredients
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup classic original applesauce
1/2 cup boiling water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Preheat to 350. Spray a 9? square baking pan with vegetable oil.
2. Mix together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, blend together wet ingredients. Combine and pour into baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean about (40 minutes).
