My mom-in-laws old stand by that quick and easy and so tasty.
Ingredients:
1 cup broken walnuts
1 cup crushed graham wafers
1 cup coconut
in a saucepan, cook
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
icing
1/4 cup butter
2 cups icing sugar
2 tbsp cream
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
whole graham wafers
Directions:
1. Mix walnuts, coconut and crushed wafers together
2. In a pot, mix sugar, butter and milk. Boil 1 minute. Add vanilla and then the first mixture of walnuts and coconut.
3. Butter a cookie sheet, place whole graham wafers over the bottom of the cookie sheet. Spread with above mixture. Cover everything with another layer of whole graham wafers and spread on the icing.
