Waffles that are healthier and full of fibre. All-purpose flour can be replaced with whole wheat flour.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 1/4 cup oatmeal
4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp allspice
1 egg
4 tbsp tofu, okara
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 cups milk, 2
1/4 cup raisins
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Mix the rest of the ingredients except raisins in a separate bowl.
3. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry.
4. Fold in raisins.
5. Cook using a waffle iron.
