The name says it all!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 eggs or egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
12 teaspoon allspice
1 cup flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup dried fruit
1 cup nuts of your choice
1 cup baking chips of your choice
Directions:
1. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars
2. Blend in eggs and vanilla
3. Sir in flour, wheat germ, spices and salt, (if using)
4. Batter will be very thick
5. Divide batter into two greased 9 X 13 pans
6. Bake at *275* degrees for 25-30 minutes or until brown and a toothpick comes out clean
7. Cut into bars
