Oatmeal Molasses Cookies - Very Low Fat/Calorie

These cookies are so yummy and good for you to! They literally have less than 1 gram of fat, and have a great flavor if you like molasses! Plus there is no margarine or butter but uses applesauce instead. You have to try these!
Ingredients:
2/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup blackstrap molasses
1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups rolled oats
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the applesauce, white sugar and molasses until smooth. Beat in the egg whites, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour and baking soda; stir into the sugar mixture. Mix in the rolled oats (and chocolate chips/nuts if desired). Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
4. Should make about 20 cookies.
